P(2)AS Challenge WEEK 1 – 7 DAYS DOWN

Hey my P(2)ASers!

I just wanted to check in to see how you are doing with the challenge! I will be coming around to check in on your progress. I would love to hear what you have experienced. Take a moment and comment on what your first week of 100%ing felt like, did you experience a change? was it harder then you thought? are you enjoying it or is it too much? Let me know we all want to hear!

I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in the fact that only 6 of you have “signed” in… I saw a lot of hands go up when we launched the challenge….

I hope that even though you may not have signed your name through the comment box that you have taken on the challenge, viewed some of the compiled information and are in the game!!!

can’t wait to hear!

  1. This week I really started trying to work on my turn out and feel it through the top of my legs. It felt very different from what i normally do and i noticed a change almost right after I figured out how to do it.

  2. Isn’t it amazing how you can find something new in things you have been doing (or thought you were doing:) day in and day out. When something connects for you it’s important to take notice what you were doing when you “got it” so that you can do it again! What I love about dance and the body is that sometimes we can get that instant gratification that we crave so much in life. There are times when you make an adjustment it can register immediately! great work keep it up!

  3. So far I feel working 100% pays off. I started working on closing my fifth tighter. I know I have to ability to have a really good 5th position I just didn’t know how to get it. I can feel the difference and see my 5th getting better. I also worked on hitting double turns. I just need to do 2 turns every time I get the chance. Also working on “DANCING” the movement instead of doing the steps. And most importantly keeping my shoulders back so I don’t look hunched over.
