Actually, there was quite a lot done to enhance the original image. And they’re all pretty noticeable too. They’ve smoothed out the skin on her face, stomach and thighs, they’ve slimmed her right thigh down, they have removed the lines on her underarms, they have repositioned her fingers, pushed her breasts up, removed her sock, and removed the wrinkle lines from the undergarments.
When you first look at it, you can’t tell it’s been digitally edited, but it has, a lot. I personally don’t think the original image even needed to be retouched that much, Katy Perry was already beautiful, but Rolling Stone still felt the need to manipulate this image.
