A Trip Down Memory Lane: Nicki Minaj Before And After Booty implants

Here’s the thing. I am not a fan of the Minaj. T’ruth be told I have heard little of her music but what she represents in her image is disturbing to me. She is to me the music industry’s manufactured answer to the “hip hop Lady Gaga”. A cute girl to start with, and clearly she had some skills as she did work her way up the ranks by spitting verses on more established artist’s songs, so why the need to have the buttocks implants making her a flesh and blood anime version of herself?

What MC skills she has are in some ways overshadowed by the fake booty and cotton candy wigs. I have heard interviews with her where she explains her different MC personalities and I have to say I was impressed, and thought her very creative, something along the lines of Eminem and his crafty music videos, but her packaging won’t let me get to what might be the substantial core of her. When I see these before and after photos it just make me question why? She was lovely before and had a fair amount of “cakes” to begin with…

Oddly young male MC’s need not have pectoral implants and have not problem taking their shirts off to reveal the bulging belly omentum of men 3 times their ages. They feel no need to hit the gym, they hit the 40 once and a blunt, they need not wear batty shorts and expose themselves to make it big.

Wanna know how much Katy Perry Weighs?

Katy admits:

“when I was a kid, I was the same height and weighed more like 145. And I had enormous boobs that I didn’t know what to do with, so I wore minimizers, which were not cute.”

find out her weight here

Regardless of her height, it is nice to hear that at her higher weight she was fine with it, her issue came from the size of her breasts. I find it interesting that at her higher weight she wore minimizers and now she is thrusting those puppies at everyone every chance she gets including Elmo on Sesame Street. What changed, what gave her confidence (or what ever you want to call it) to be half naked at every turn? The issue I have is that all these young (and older) female stars feel the need or obligation to take their clothes of and spread their legs or stick their asses out to sell an album, movie or television show…just something to think about

Once Plus sized Model Crystal Renn speaks out about the Pressure

She talks about working for Channel and Karl Largerfeld and then finally get to the controversy of her latest transformation minusing the plus and just being a model.

I am not so certain how I feel about the reasons behind the lose (she doesn’t really mention that) but she does talk about health and the fact that thick or thin, fat or skinny you cannot tell whether or not someone is healthy physically or mentally. She starts talking about these topics at about 3:00

Too Young to Look Old? Dealing with the Fear of Aging

By Vivian Diller, Ph.D.

The other day a patient of mine asked what I thought about her daughter’s desire to get Botox. She told me that they had been to the dermatologist for a routine appointment when a projector screen in the waiting room began showing pictures of various anti-aging procedures. “The video kept looping over and over, with before and after pictures, so you couldn’t help but watch it,” she said, as if explaining her interest in such matters. That’s when she realized her daughter was watching too. Her daughter is 16-years-old.

Global Obesity Rates Double Since 1980

MARIA CHENG

Excerpt- “Being obese is no longer just a Western problem,” said Majid Ezzati, a professor of public health at Imperial College London, one of the study’s authors.

In 1980, about 5 percent of men and 8 percent of women worldwide were obese. By 2008, the rates were nearly 10 percent for men and 14 percent for women.

That means 205 million men and 297 million women weighed in as obese. Another 1.5 billion adults were overweight, according to the obesity study.
