Everyone already knows how much I admire Vogue Italia’s Editor Franca Sozzani for her passion for redefining the female body in the fashion industry. She has started an campaign against pro-anorexia websites, and has made very conscious decisions about the models she employs in her magazine. She was responsible for the June 2011 curvy girl cover and the Black Girl issue of Vogue Italia. Just the other day Arianna Huffington invited Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani for a conversation with the Huffington Post staff and talked about from fashion, body image, celebs on covers to plastic surgery.
here is a clip of her discussing her vigilance concerning anorexia, the fashion industry and her responsibility
Here she talks plastic surgery! I lovelovelove what she says about when it makes sense… she is just the BOMB!!!
to see the rest of her lengthy interview (very interesting) JUMP!
